Hulu Coming To The UK

The giant among Internet TV services is planning to launch this fall in the UK.

Hulu has gained a reputation as the Cadillac of Internet television services, with the backing of three major networks. Now, according to reports, it’s set to be available outside the US, expanding to the UK this fall, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The content will include some 3,000 hours of American programming, backed with ads.

Rumors also have Hulu in negotiations with UK networks to make their programs available, according to Brand Republic.

Hulu is said to be in talks with ITV and Channel 4, although there’s disagreement over control of ads, while there are also talks with the BBC in progress. If those all come to fruition, it could make Hulu the biggest Internet broadcaster.

Hulu has already signed an agreement that makes several British shows available online in the US.
