Icemat Goes Cold with Siberia Earphones

Gaming company unveils a set of in-ear earphones which have different ear coverings and reportedly near complete sound isolation.

Icemat, a developer of gear for gamers, today announced the release of an in-ear headphone especially designed for use with portable gaming devices. The new Icemat Siberia In-Ear Headphone is priced at $49.95 and looks to be available now.

The Icemat Siberia In-Ear Headphone, said Icemat, includes three distinct ear coverings which can be adjusted to fit an individual’s ear size and shape. This in-ear earphone set reportedly offers near complete sound isolation as well as keeping sound at a safe level. Technical specifications include a frequency response of 18 – 28.000Hz, impedance of 40Ohm and a SPL@1kHz, 1V rms of 99 – 104dB.

“The Icemat Siberia In-Ear Headphone takes portable gaming audio to the next level, providing the highest quality sound environment currently available in the marketplace,” said Tino Soelberg, Design Manager for Icemat, in a statement. “The unique construction of the Icemat Siberia In-Ear Headphone allows users to focus completely on their games by dramatically reducing external noise and sound.”
