The DRM protection protecting downloaded iTunes music has once again been hacked despite Apple releasing a patch earlier this week to fix it.
“The hacker known as “DVD Jon” cracked the code two days ago and released a tool that allows users to strip the DRM data. Apple responded by requiring all users to upgrade to iTunes 4.7 before downloading any additional songs — the new version plugs the DRM hole.
Now, DVD Jon and colleagues have cracked the new code and released a Linux version of the tool”
