Look out -- Napster is once again a source for free music! Well, there's a catch: you've got to put up with ads.
Digital music distributor Napster has launched a new free, ad-based version of its digital music service. According to Napster, U.S. users can listen to any of the over two million tracks available on the service (including material from all the major music distributors) for free.
There are, of course, some catches. Users who want to take advantage of the free service must sign up for an account. The free music is available only via a Flash-based player, the audio is a low-quality 32 Kbps feed, and each song can only be accessed five times
