Ron Harris from the Associated Press reviews the new Olympus M:robe MP3 player/digital camera and says its basically just a 'shiny brick'.
Quote from the review:
“When you converge lackluster media delivery into one device, you essentially get a shiny brick.
Olympus thinks consumers want a 1.2 megapixel digital camera (with no zoom and no flash) controlled by a color touch-panel screen. Olympus also thinks you’ll want to mix some of your images together with music and watch a slideshow on the palm-sized screen with all the fingerprints you’ve just smudged on it while taking the photos.”
Ouch, looks like the m:robe got slammed hard. Maybe thats why you will be hard pressed to find reviews of this player on the web.
