Roku Offers Rebate on SoundBridge Product

Starting today, consumers can purchase the Roku SoundBridge M500 or M1000 from retail stores or online and receive a $50 rebate from Roku, making the price $149 and $199.

In addition, the SoundBridge M2000 has been permanently reduced in price to $399.

During May and June, consumers can enjoy the $50 rebate when they purchase a Roku SoundBridge M500 or M1000 from retailers such as Best Buy, Tweeter, Fry’s Electronics, Magnolia Audio Video, Crutchfield, RadioShack; online at www.rokulabs.com; or from any custom install dealer. Consumers redeem the $50 rebate by visiting www.rokulabs.com/rebate before July 31, 2005.

SoundBridge comes in three models, all of them sleek and cylindrical. The M500 is 10 inches long by 2.37 inches in diameter, and has a liquid crystal display. The M1000 is 10 inches long by 2.37 inches in diameter and has a vacuum florescent display. The M2000 is 17 inches long by 2.75 inches in diameter, has a vacuum florescent display. All models come with Wi-Fi.

  1. James at 9:01am 2nd May 2005 I like my Roku Soundbridge, but the wireless connection in it just plain sucks. It must not be that compatible with my NetGear router or something. If you do get this, make sure you use a regular wired ethernet connection if you can.
