Envy News reviews the new Samsung VoiceYepp VY-H200S in its 64MB flavor. Find out how it does inside.
Quote from the review:
“Introduced at CeBIT Asia 2002 last fall, Samsung continues to have high hopes in its VY-H200 S, T, and L model. Each of the 32, 64, and 128MB models are designed primarily for their voice-recording feature, and not solely as an MP3 player. Samsung also offers higher-end models of the VoiceYepp including the VY-H350 series, and the VY-H700 series. Introduced at the same show, Samsung demonstrated their new Yepp YP-750 192MB 7-color LCD MP3 player.”
Our take: The VoiceYepp VY-H200S is somewhat of a dissapointment. First of all, 128MB should be the standard on any MP3 player, and secondly the IDv3 tags are not even displayed on the LCD. Mac users will also have to look elsewhere because the VoiceYepp VY-H200S is not compatible with your systems. We noticed that the design of the VoiceYepp VY-H200S resembles the MPIO DMK which we reviewed a while back and absolutely fell in love with. So if you are looking for an affordable MP3 player and you do not need voice recording capabilities, we recommend the MPIO DMK. Overall Envy News gives the VoiceYepp VY-H200S a 91% (why?).
