Snoop Dogg will be lending his voice to Voice Skins and will be compatible with all TomTom GPS devices.

How cool would you feel if you had none-other-than Snoop D. O. Double G as your navigator? We’ll answer that—super cool. GPS navigation system manufacturer TomTom has found a way to trump the ever popular Google Maps Navigation and Garmin navi systems in two words—Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg is lending his voice to Voice Skins, the same company that brought Homer Simpson to your GPS, to give you turn-by-turn directions where ever and whenever you like. The Doggfather’s smooth vocals are available now from Voice Skins for $12.95 and are compatible with all TomTom devices.

  1. dang at 10:06pm 15th December 2009 i'd give the voice skins a piece of my mind if that happened.

What model of Tomtom do you have? That would help people many people out.
  2. amymanfred at 7:31pm 15th December 2009 Well after all that i finally got the correct id number and downloaded it and turned on my tomtom and it froze. I cannot turn it off or on and the screen is frozen so now im out the money for the tomtom and the 12.95 for the snoop voiceskin...not happy because i was looking forward to hearing it..
  3. PEBBNAT at 7:00pm 15th December 2009 SpeedySmithy- Did yours end up working? and what type of TomTom do you have? i am so sad that i cant get this working, it is supposed to be a gift for my boyfriend. Once i read your post i went and found the right Id number, reordered it and it did the same thing so i just wasted a ton of money if this thing doesnt work..
  4. amymanfred at 1:23pm 11th December 2009 Apparently we are not the only ones who have had this problem. I contacted customer support at the email uthat you suggested and heard back the same day. They were very apologetic and said they are working to improve the system..thanks to those who responded..
  5. speedysmithy at 7:16am 11th December 2009 pinkmacegun - email customer-service@voiceskins.com and they will help sort you. There really good. I had same problem, and turned out that I had put in the wrong number for my tomtom device id. Think you probably done the same. They said they are gonna make it easier to contact them and put better help on the site.
    Gotta love Snoop!
  6. pinkmacegun at 6:15pm 8th December 2009 I went and bought a tomtom just to download snoop, and while it downloaded onto my device, there is no voice, i cannot get help from tomtom either and cannot find anyone to call on voiceskins site, so i am out of 12.95 also, plus i cannot return the tomtom.
  7. dang at 9:42am 2nd December 2009 That sucks. What model of TomTom do you have? I wonder if it only works with certain models?
  8. amy at 9:36am 2nd December 2009 Just bought this last night...unable to download it to my tomtom because the "button does not work". Called Tomtom and they cannot assist because its not their product..voiceskins does not list a contact number or email anywhere that I can find so right now I'm out $12.95..
