The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that some Apple iPods are not being recognized by Apple's popular iTunes music software.

Apple Computer is looking at a problem with some of its iPod digital music players, which makes them unrecognisable by the latest version of its iTunes software – version 4.5.

The latest version of iTunes, software that functions as a digital jukebox, was released last Wednesday, the same day that the company released an update for the iPod to take advantage of new features in iTunes 4.5 and the iTunes Music Store.
