Speck Rolls Out Nine nano Cases

New iPod nano cases range in price from $19.95 to $34.95, offer up different shapes and textures and will be available in October.

Speck Products, the makers of the iGuy iPod case, today announced they were bringing some new cases to market for the recently announced iPod nano. The nine new cases will be available next month, ranging in price from $19.95 to $34.95.

The nine case line up, Speck said, includes the following: Nano Grass FunSkin (green color, "grassy shape" texture, screen protector, belt clip), Nano Cloudy FunSkin (white color, "cloud shape" texture, screen protector, belt clip), Nano iGuy, Nano Connect and Protect (clear color, rubberized skin, holster, caribeener clip, lanyard, wrist strap) and the Nano ToughSkin (clear or black color, rubberized skin, screen protector, belt clip).

"We are confident that we will be first to market with the largest collection of iPod nano cases available," said Tim Hickman, general manager of Speck Products. "Rather than reacting to Apple’s new product news last week, we finalized our designs and went into preproduction three weeks ago. As a result, we have a generous head start, with nine unique products in production, and the capacity to produce up to 50,000 units per week of selected top sellers."
