Turbolinux offers Skype Handset

Introducing the world’s first CyberPhone K Linux Version USB Handset for Skype users.

Turbolinux, the Japanese-based open source provider, will be selling CyberPhone K, a USB handset developed exclusively for Linux drivers.  The handset allows for free peer-to-peer IP voice calls via Skype.

The CyberPhone K is a high quality handset that installs in a simple USB port on a Skype-installed PC.  The handset provides better sound quality and a keypad interface familiar to phone users.

Originally developed for Windows, the demand for Skype drove Turbolinux to provide a Linux Driver for the CyberPhone K.  The MSRP is $79.64, including tax.  The CyberPhone K is currently only supported in Turbolinux 10 Desktop, and Turbolinux 10 Desktop Basic.
