Sony Brings the Bling with Swarovski Photoframe

Use Your Head with the iSoundCap

Sick of iPod pouches, cases armbands, lanyards, and fer-gosh-sakes coats with integrated wiring? The iSoundCap lets you get ahead of the game with an iPod-compatible cap.

If you’re sick of dealing with iPod sleeves, cases, pouches, armbands, lanyards, and other paraphernalia—and still having to struggle with that darn white earphone cable getting into your face, your food, and getting snagged by passerby, then iSoundCap has a solution for you: an iPod-savvy cap which not only accommodates your iPod, but also keeps all its wires from dangling in your way.

"The Cap is extremely fashionable but also provides a function. It is easy to use and is designed for the [iPod] nano and the shuffle," says Karl Foust, CEO of iSoundCap Inc. "Everyone who has used an iPod has had the unfortunate problem of getting tangled up in the headphone wires. This happens at the gym, running, biking, dancing or just about any type of activity. The new patent pending iSoundCap allows the user to do all these activities without those pesky wires hanging from your ears to your iPod. We say it allows you to ‘Wire-Free your Music’ because the sensation is almost wireless!"

The iSoundCap provides a water-resistant protective pocket for your iPod nano or iPod Shuffle (with a vinyl access window so you can get to the clickwheel), with a separate pocket to accommodate a wire spool: just wrap your headphone cable around the spool, stuff the whole thing into the spool pocket, and the dangling headphone issue is eliminated. You leave just enough slack for your earbuds to reach your ears.

The cap itself i 128×60 brushes cotton twill with an inside lining, and comes with two bendable polyurethane wire spools. They’re available in two black-and-white designs (one mainly black, one mainly white, with vaguely wave-like patterning) for $29.95. Which, honestly, is cheaper than a lot of iPod cases on the market.
