Vonage Teams with D-Link for Phone Adaptor

Vonage and networking gear company D-Link today announced a new two-line Internet phone adaptor configured with Vonage’s VoIP service. The new D-Link VTA is available now for $49.99, various rebates virtually making the device free for new Vonage subscribers.

The D-Link VTA, said Vonage, powers up to two lines of Internet telephone services and supports features like call waiting, call forwarding and caller ID with name. It also incorporates Texas Instruments’ TNETV1015 VoIP gateway chipset, which Vonage says further enhances the quality and feature offerings of their service.

“Vonage is pleased to offer its customers D-Link’s new Vonage enabled product, as the company always seeks to offer a variety of hardware choices for its low-cost, flat-rate, feature-rich calling plans,” stated Daniel Smires, senior vice president of Engineering of Vonage Network Inc, in a statement. “Vonage is delighted to kickoff its relationship with D-Link.”
