Zoo Tycoon

We haven't had a chance to fully test this product yet, but we've assembled this helpful overview of relevant information on it.

The 2013 edition of Zoo Tycoon is the third in the series and the first to come to home consoles, available at launch for Xbox One with a simultaneous release for Xbox 360. On top of the classic Tycoon Mode, where players build and manage their growing zoo from scratch, and Freeform Mode where money is no object and the sky is the limit, this version of the game will also include a 15-hour story modeĀ  and various challenge modes.

Notable in this installment in the series is the Xbox One’s utilization of Kinect to allow the player to directly interact with their animals, through activities such as feeding and playing with them in first person, and to play various motion-based minigames. Players can also explore their park in first person, made even better by the game’s vast improvement in graphics over its predecessors. The Xbox 360 version will not include Kinect minigames, and over 65 animals present in the Xbox One version will be absent.
