Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation trailer

Arguably the biggest title to be released for the Playstation Vita yet, Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation finally gives handheld gamers something to really be excited about.

It was already fairly clear that Ubisoft’s handheld version of the largely console-based series will feature the same combat style and free-roaming navigation as always — the only difference is that this time you’ll run, jump, and stab jugulars as a female character. Although this isn’t first AC title to be released on a handheld or mobile platform, gameplay on PlayStation’s Vita looks like it has improved in leaps and bounds (pun intended), at least compared to what it was on the PSP in Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines.

Scheduled for release in October, Liberation will surely be a welcome addition to Vita’s still relatively scarce game market.
