It’s another week, and that means another “Heavy Hitters” episode for 2K Games’ BioShock Infinite. Episode three brings the creepy sounding “Boys of Silence”. Catch up with episode one and episode two for the two previous Heavy Hitters that have been covered. As a reminder, the Heavy Hitters are bigger enemies that players will battle against in the floating city of Columbia.
The Boys of Silence are some weird and creepy looking creatures. They are, we think, children with their heads encased in metal. These metal heads feature trumpet horns as kinds of ears, plus an open mouth for screeching. Boys of Silence are blind but they have good hearing, so sneaking will be required, or you could just fight them.
Art Director Nate Wells, Lead Artist Shawn Robertson, and creative director Ken Levine discuss the Boys and what grabbed them about the concept.
Look for BioShock Infinite starting on October 16 when it releases for Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.
