We showed part one of Irrational Games’ “Heavy Hitters” series for the upcoming BioShock Infinite last week. This week we’ve got episode two which features a new “Heavy Hitter”.
The “Heavy Hitters” are bigger enemies that the pinkerton Booker will fight in the flying city of Columbia. If you want to think of them this way you can but they’re kind of the big bad replacement for the Big Daddies from the first two BioShocks.
The one mentioned in this video is the Handyman. A somewhat tragic character that lives in a suit of metal with an exposed heart. He is powerful and extremely agile. It somewhat reminds of a giant metal gorilla with a human head.
Ken Levine, art director Nate Wells and lead artist Shawn Robertson discuss some of the features, artistic choices and tease at a story for the Handyman.
BioShock Infinite will be hitting store shelves starting on October 16. The game will be available for Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.
