After the last Zombies trailer, we had a sneaking suspicion that the Zombies mode in Black Ops 2 would be more than just a round-based mini-game. This trailer confirms those suspicions. Not only will the game be bigger and better than ever before, players will have three different zombie-based game modes to choose from.
With that bullet-spraying bespectacled dude mowing down the undead from a run-down bus, you’ve probably already guessed that one of the new modes will have you touring the map like a zombie-killing indie rock band. It’s called “Tranzit” mode — a full-fledged zombies campaign. You can travel around either by bus or by foot, but you won’t be able to progress to the next city until you’ve finished off all the undead in each area.
Tranzit mode will be the biggest of the three modes. The other two are Survival and Custom. We’re assuming that Survival is essentially the same round-based gameplay as we all know and love with a few updates. Word is that there’s a competitive multiplayer mode which pits teams of 4 against each other to see who can last the longest.
Custom mode will allow you to tweak the parameters of the game, so you can disable magical items or only kill zombies with a headshot. We cant’ be sure unil we get a chance to play it, but it appears that Treyarch and Activision have outdone themselves on this one
