We already knew that Assassin’s Creed III was going to be big and look very good—we’ve seen more than enough of it to justify that—but now Ubisoft wants you to know that along with looking good, the game will be sort of…well, technologically awesome.
The clip in question highlights some of the things that will be going on in the background adding life to the pre-America America, but it also gives us another look at some of the new gameplay elements including dual-wielding. That is all made possible thanks to the new engine Ubisoft developed for AC3, which it is calling AnvilNext. This game and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation on the Vita will make use of the new engine.
Check it out and keep your eyes peeled for the AnvilNext powered Assassin’s Creed III when it is released for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on October 30, then the Wii U sometime after.
