One of the most intriguing features in Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is without question the Gunsmith mode. This feature allows players to take any gun in the game and customize it to their liking with over 20 million different options available.
The 20 million number comes from the fact that there are 52 guns in the game, each with up to 10 points of customization. Options for making the guns your own include replacing triggers, barrels, stocks and more. Before using your customized unit in game, you can test it out on a firing range to check its performance and accuracy rate.
Gunsmith mode is also capable of working with the Xbox 360 Kinect’s gesture-based commands, and with the PlayStation Move.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available on May 22 for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3. However, PC gamers will have to wait, as the game won’t be out for them until June 12.
