This year sees the 10-year anniversary of the release of the first Halo for the original Xbox. 343 Industries, which has the Halo license, is working on re-releasing the game with a few updates and some reskinning.
The biggest update fans will notice is that the graphics have been heavily updated to current-generation standards. From the level look to the character skins, everything’s been changed a bit. One of the levels that they really changed was the Library, which 343 says they wanted to make easier to navigate and less boring to look at.
Some of the other updates include an updated Halo Waypoint which include a new interface and some new features that affect the game.
Look for Halo: Combat Evolved 10 year Anniversary Edition on November 15, 2011.
