Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is launching next week and EA has a launch trailer for t he game to show it off one last time before it hits store shelves.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be launching on February 7 which is next week on Tuesday. It’s got some big hitters behind it with people like R.A. Salvatore creating the lore for the game, Todd McFarlane advising on the art style and Ken Rolston who was the lead designer on Morrowind and Oblivion.
The game won’t be that similar to the Elder Scrolls game, though. It will feature 5 regions, four playable races, three classes and 22 abilities per tree. The gameplay has been described by 38 Studios as a marriage between Oblivion and God of War.
Here’s some trivia for you (if you didn’t know it): 38 Studios is making the game and the company was founded by former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling when he retired from baseball. He started the company in 2006. Have fun with that.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is slated to be on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
