Mortal Kombat went back to basics last year and fared pretty well with its latest iteration. Since then several DLC packs with characters, arenas and other things came out. Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition repackages the game with all of the DLC that has come out for the game.
Some of the DLC includes Freddie Kreuger and the weirdly popular Rain, who is the purple ninja next Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero. A couple of features of note here is that the online won’t split between MK and MKKE, the games will be compatible. Some other goodies included on this one are the album Mortal Kombat: Songs inspired by the fighters and a download code for the 1995 Mortal Kombat for Xbox Live or Playstation Network. You can decide for yourself it that one was worth the ticket or not.
Other in-game content includes Skarlet, Kenshi, 15 alt Klassic Skins and three Klassic fatalities for Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile.
The repackage hits shelves today, February 28, for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
