EA and Criterion have given us another sneak peek at some of the cars that will be featured in their upcoming title Need for Speed: Most Wanted, as well as a better look at the setting of Fairhaven City.
Designers have suggested that the game will be a mixture of all the best aspects of previous NFS hits. It’ll have the customizability features of NFS Underground, the police evasion aspects of NFS Hot Pursuit, and judging from what we’ve seen, it also looks like this latest game will be similar to Criterion’s Burnout Paradise and will feature large, open maps for players to race around.
Need For Speed: Most Wanted also looks like it will have some form of Kinect support, which is becoming fairly standard for major releases on the Xbox 360, but as the game is being developed for release on PC, PS3, Wii U (eventually), and Vita, the Kinect interaction will likely be somewhat limited. We’ll find out when the game is released on October 30.
