This trailer for NHL 13 pokes fun at the oft-referenced “Madden Curse.” Whether or not the curse is true, according to EA is does not translate to their NHL series. Apparently, the last four cover athletes have had tremendous seasons after they were featured on the cover of the NHL games.
As an example, the NHL 10 cover athelete, Patrick King, scored the game winner to lead the Chicago Blackhawks to their first Stanley Cup in 50 years.
