Everyone’s favorite English archeologist will be back to kick some ass in 2013.
Tomb Raider: a series so awesome that even two crappy Angelina Jolie movies can’t ruin it. Lara Croft has been kicking ass and raiding tombs since ’96, and if you thought she was ever going to retire, you were dead wrong. Despite a two-year hiatus from making appearances, she’ll soon to be back in the upcoming game Tomb Raider.
Tomb Raider won’t be a continuation of the long-running Tomb Raider saga. Instead, the 2013 title is said to be a prequel — a reboot from which the series can start anew. Players will take control of a young Laura Croft, and play through some of the events that transformed her from a frightened young woman into the hardened survivor we all know and love.
The game is set to be released on March 5th of 2013, so be sure to check back for more trailers and info as the date draws nearer.
