The newest trailer for Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 actually gives us a bit of information concerning the plot and potential direction that series stalwarts Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield are headed. Mostly, though, this trailer is focused on Kennedy, although you will see Redfield as part of a commando team.
Resident Evil 6 is supposed to take place a decade after the initial Raccoon City events (and about four years after RE: 5). The President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind Raccoon City in an attempt to curb the resurgence in bioterrorist activity. However, during the President’s speech a bioterrorist attack occurs forcing Leon Kennedy to make a hard decision about saving him.
This particular trailer focuses on the new C-virus which changes people in ways not yet seen in the series. Six will also be the first time that Kennedy and Chris Redfield have been really teamed up to face down bioterrorism. Of course, there will be several new characters as well who each have their own connections to the twisted Resident Evil world.
Resident Evil 6 is slated for a November 20 release on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.
