Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments tech demo

Focus Home Interactive just released some new footage highlighting the engine powering its upcoming Sherlock Holmes game, Sherlock Holmes: Crime and Punishments. Frogware is developing the game on Unreal Engine 3, which gives this title a boost over predecessor The Testament of Sherlock Holmes, which used the Motion Capture engine.

As you can see from the video, environments in Crimes and Punishments is aiming for a far more realistic and detailed look, complete with with dynamic lighting and shadows. No word yet on a release date, so be sure to check back for more trailers and details in the weeks to come.
