Are you one of the intrepid few who actually bought Nintendo’s newest console? If so, you’re in luck – the Wii U version of Ubisoft’s upcoming game Splinter Cell: Blacklist looks downright excellent. Although the console hasn’t exactly been a hit with consumers, the Wii U’s GamePad controller offers a unique way to explore the game.
Thanks to the GamePad’s massive touchscreen, players can keep track of their inventory, equip items, and execute tasks right from the controller without ever needing to fiddle with menus. Blacklist’s developers also made use of the controller’s motion sensors, which allow you to pilot a tri-rotor recon drone or snake cam just by waving the controller around.
If you’ve got a Wii U, mark your calendar for August 20th – you’ll definitely want to get your hands on this one.
