Rumor has Sony announcing a slimmer PS3 at E3 this year, but will it happen with the economy down?
Given the economic hard times, it might seem unlikely, but the word is that Sony will unveil a slimline version of the PS3 at E3.
According to Playstation Lifestyle:
“When we caught wind of this, the exact word “redesign” was used, which leaves me to believe that it is indeed a PS3 slim. Announcing a different color wouldn’t exactly warrant the term “redesign”.”
And why not? It certainly worked for them with the PS2, and it would go along very well with the supposedly near-certain announcement of a motion controller for the device.
