Abe Lincoln goes steampunk for Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. in March 2015

Intelligent Systems’ oddball Nintendo 3DS game Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., first revealed at E3 2014, is out on March 13, 2015. The game mixes third-person combat, squad tactics, and Abraham Lincoln doing his steampunk thing.

Intelligent Systems is best known for its work on an assortment of notable Nintendo series’, including Advance Wars, Paper Mario, and Fire Emblem. S.T.E.A.M. seems to channel inspiration from many of those sources, with its team-based competitive multiplayer, unusual steampunk aesthetic, and strategic bent.
