Crytek Develops Far Cry 64-Bit Game

Crytek and AMD have developed a 64-bit version of their popular FarCry game which is now available at retailers.

If you currently have FarCry, then all you need to do is download an update patch to enable support for your 64-bit processor.

The patches to enable 64-bit Far Cry are available today at http://www.amd.com/farcry. Current owners of the 32-bit version of Far Cry and Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition can download the patches and begin playing 64-bit Far Cry immediately.   1. TechFreak at 3:39pm 10th May 2005 WinXP Pro x64 Edition, an AMD Athlon64 CPU, and FarCry are what you need to take advantage of this software. I have an AMD 64-bit CPU and the game, but I don't want to run out and get the new operating system.

    Whats WinXP Pro cost anyways?

    Sounds like HardOCP was pretty impressed with the new 64-bit game.
