I find it interesting that when I asked EA support about my defective guitar strummer and the reports that they are aware of the issue, if it would be replaced with a new model or method of holding the switch, the only response I received was;
"With regards to your queries about new models of guitars coming out, we don't have any updated information regarding this."

I just received this reply today 12/20/07
The response was short and in no way confirming or acknowledged that there is an issue. Which is being reported all over the web by unhappy customers.
