EA Withdraws Tiger Woods PS2 Title

According to Gamesindustry.biz, there is a significant performance issue with the title. They will be pulling the title from store shelves and offering refunds customers.

“Publisher Electronic Arts has recalled copies of the English language version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 from European retailers, following reports of a “performance issue” with the PS2 version of the popular game.

The game is expected to return to shelves within the next three weeks, and owners of the title who have found themselves affected by the bug will be able to exchange their copies for newly issued ones at that point – or demand a full refund in the interim, thanks to arrangements made with retailers by EA.”
