Though the likes of Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo all had the chance to share their latest news at E3 2015, so did the developers behind the games. And with major titles like Fallout 4, Star Wars: Battlefront, and a remake of Final Fantasy 7 coming within a year, they brought plenty to the table. Bethesda, EA, Ubisoft and Square Enix each shared tons of important news with fans at their respective press conferences.

We distilled down hours of talking heads on stage to just three quick minutes of all the gaming news you need to know in this DT highlight reel.

Coming hot of the heels of Microsoft and Bethesda's jam-packed E3 showcase, Square Enix delivered its own livestream full of announcements. Like its recent Square Enix Presents stream presentation, it was a tight 40-minute show that focused on a handful of upcoming titles.

Much of the news was expected, as Square Enix shared the itinerary beforehand. A large chunk of the stream was dedicated to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, a new single-player game from Eidos. Life is Strange: True Colors and Babylon's Fall were a a big part of the show as well. There was only one surprise, though it had leaked beforehand: Final Fantasy Origin. Going into E3 2021, Microsoft was always the company to watch. While the Xbox Series X has been light on exclusives so far, there was a sense that E3 was going to be where the narrative changed. That's largely because of Bethesda, which Microsoft officially acquired this year in a blockbuster deal. To celebrate, Microsoft and Bethesda decided to hold a 90-minute megaconference this year, which set fans' expectations extremely high.

It's safe to say that Microsoft delivered. The show was packed wall-to-wall with news, announcements, and updates on previously revealed games. It started with a grand unveil for Starfield, Bethesda's open-world space game, which will launch in November 2022. Halo Infinite got a spotlight as well, though it still doesn't have a firm release date. It wouldn't be a Microsoft show without Forza, and the latest installment of the racing series got a massive segment as well. That barely scratches the surface of what was shown during Microsoft's loaded press conference, so here's all the highlights.

Microsoft and Bethesda Games Showcase, E3 2021: How to watch and what to expect

E3 is here, and all of the big video game developers are unveiling their livestreams for the event. Microsoft will join companies like Nintendo and Square Enix in hosting a digital showcase highlighting its games. The 90-minute event is a joint Xbox and Bethesda stream detailing new games and content from Bethesda Softworks, Xbox Game Studios, and some third-party developers.

We can expect to see Starfield, Halo Infinite, and possibly an expansion to the library found in the Xbox Game Pass. Of course, completely new game announcements are expected as well, and perhaps even plans for the next line of Xbox Series consoles.
