Final Fantasy X-2 Moves One Million
Who says sex doesn't sell? Oh, right, nobody did.
Though it hasn’t sold at quite the same clip as its predecessor, Final Fantasy X-2 has moved more than one million units in North America since its release last fall, Square Enix announced today.Worldwide, more than 6.6 million copies of the game have shipped, and FFX-2 has yet to see release in Europe.
Together, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 have shipped more than 10 million units worldwide. That makes them the most successful titles in the franchise’s history by a fair margin, with more than 20% of the series’ units moved between them.
