Maria Menounos to Play Virtual Bond Girl
Electronic Arts signs actress to lend her likeness as an original evil character to the upcoming From Russia With Love video game.
Actress Maria Menounos has been signed by Electronics Arts to appear as a virtual Bond girl in their upcoming From Russia With Love video game, the game publisher announced today. Menounos will appear alongside Sean Connery, reprising his role as James Bond.
Menounos, who has several screen and television credits as well as being an Entertainment Tonight correspondent, will play the role of Eva, said EA. Eva is an original character created for the game and is villain Red Grant’s driver and henchwoman. Menounous will lend her voice and likeness to the character.
From Russia With Love, which is based upon the original James Bond movie of the same name, is set for release this fall on the Playstation 2, Xbox and GameCube.
“I am honored to be a Bond girl and be a part of the Bond legacy,” said Menounos. “To star in a video game with Connery, the original Bond, is incredible.”
