New line up, set to debut with the next generation gaming platform in time for the holidays, includes a wide array of different genre titles from various publishers.

Microsoft yesterday announced a most impressive video game line up for their upcoming, next generation Xbox 360. This new gaming platform is set for a Nov. 22 launch in North America, followed bylaunches on Dec. 2 in Europe and Dec. 10 in Japan.   The line-up, which can be read more in detail here, includes the following titles:Kameo: Elements of Power, Perfect Dark Zero, Project Gotham Racer 3, Crackdown, Gears of War, Too Human, Mass Effect, FIFA 06: Road to FIFA World Cup, Saint’s Row, Full Auto, Condemned:Criminal Origins, Superman Returns: The Videogame, Call of Duty 2, Castle Wolfenstein, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell 4, Quake 4 and MotoGP Ultimate RacingTechnology.   “The biggest and the best names in publishing are committed to the success of Xbox 360,” said Peter Moore, corporate vice president of Worldwide Marketing andPublishing for Xbox at Microsoft, “and looking at the titles we have announced tonight we are very excited. From exclusive titles to debuting the next installment of some of the world’sbest-loved franchises, Xbox 360 will redefine gaming and entertainment. The high-definition era of gaming starts now."

  3. Ian Bell and Dan Gaul at 9:50am 6th October 2005 I heard that even though MS is pushing Gears of War all over the place, that game is not slated till a late Q1 2006 release. What bums me is that there are like 5-6 car racing games that will be out later this year for the Xbox 360. I have never been into racing games, so that doesn't leave me with many choices.

    Perfect Dark looks OK, but not stunning.
    Gears of War screenshots look cool, but they look like they are from the in-game movies.
    Need For Speed looks awesome though (and fun)
