Microsoft Won’t Unveil New Xbox In March

Rumor had it that Microsoft would be introducing their next generation Xbox game console at the Game Developers Conference in March. Microsoft has said 'no' however.

“Citing a conversation with Microsoft Research management, American Technology Research analyst P.J. McNealy said the company was more likely to take the wraps off its new console in May at the broader Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.”

A Microsoft spokesman has confirmed the conversation that the new Xbox will not be unveiled at GDC. The Game Developers Conference was where Bill Gates announced their current Xbox a couple years ago.

The new Microsoft Xbox code named “Xenon” is still expected to launch later this year. Chances are that Microsoft would announce their new gaming console at this years E3 (Electronics Entertainment Expo).
