Nathan Drake heads to the PSN with Uncharted 3: Fortune Hunter

In anticipation of the November release of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Sony has announced that Uncharted 3 will receive Total Game Integration. Starting today, PS3 owners can head to the PSN and play the game Uncharted 3: Fortune Hunters. The game is a third-person action game, built around a partial recreation of the Yemen level from Drake’s Deception.

Over the next three weeks, gamers will be able to play a survival mode, as waves of enemies will continue to attack. As you fight to survive, you will also try to complete 10 challenges. Each challenge unlocks a PlayStation Home reward, including things like collectible weapons. Gamers that complete all 10 challenges will receive the Kickback Endurance Booster, for use in the Drake’s Deception multiplayer.

Sony also announced that people that preorder Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will receive a Nathan Drake costume with a unique shooting animation for your avatar.

Each piece of Fallout 4 DLC adds something substantial to the base experience. In the case of the Automatron expansion, an entire new questline pitting you against a robot army led by a figure known as the Mechanist. One of 2023’s best indie games is getting a movie starring LaKeith Stanfield

El Paso, Elsewhere, one of Digital Trends' favorite indie games of 2023, now has a film adaptation in the works.

Variety reports that LaKeith Stanfield -- an actor known for his work in films like Judas and the Black Messiah, Knives Out, and Haunted Mansion, as well as TV shows like Atlanta -- is going to star in and produce the film. The adaptation is in the works at Di Bonaventure Pictures, the production company behind the Transformers, G.I. Joe, and The Meg film franchises. Little else is known about the film at this time, although we'd presume it will be a fairly direct adaptation of this intense story-driven game.
