New Gran Turismo 4 Coming In December

Sony says the latest version of the hit game Gran Turismo 4 will be launched in December, just in time for the holidays.

Originally launched in 1997, Gran Turismo had a huge impact on the auto racing game genre.  The most popular Playstation title ever sold 36 million units.  Each perspective game that has been released has continued to be awe inspiring and widely anticipated.

The new Gran Turismo will have more then 650 cars from 80 auto manufacturers.  Gran Turismo 2 had the previous record of most cars, at 500.

GT4 will be released December 3rd in Japan.  North America and Europe will follow, with an anticipated release date of December 14th.  A price has yet to be set.
