Your article smacks with misinformation and general discord for Rare and Microsoft. Kameo was originally in development for the Gamecube and was brought over for the Xbox 360. Microsoft didn't ruin Rare, if anything they have had their games sell more than at any other time. Perfect Dark Zero was also supposed to be a Nintendo offering that was shelved until after Microsoft bought them. The game isn't bad at all, Kameo is fine and was the game I spent the most time with when the Xbox 360 launched. Banjo Kazooie Nuts And Bolts was also quite fun, but people complained because it was too different.

Viva Pinata 1 and 2 were both fantastic as well. Kinect Sports was probably the best Kinect titles for the first year of the device being on the market. Do a little research and you'll see that Rare didn't even work on Kinect Sports Season 2 for the most part.

Both Microsoft and Sony (Move, Smash Brothers Ripoff, Sackboy Kart ripoff, Sorcery) are trying to lure in casual gamer's, people just fault Microsoft more because they were far more successful at it than Sony was.

Microsoft knows its the hardcore crowd that buys a new console, which is why the Xbox 720 will launch with core games just like the Xbox 360 did.
