I have heard that there will not be any more PS3 units available at most outlets till about February now. What's really sad is that there are only a few games to play on this, and out of those games none are really “must-have”.

Well, this is just sad.
I think that if you really want to a PS3 you should wait a few months. There will be more units available, no risk for getting shot and the price will be lower.

That's just horrible that people are getting robbed and shot while waiting in line. Dont think this will only happen when waiting for the latest console games. I can imagine that now people have this in their head, they'll try to rob people lined up for sales after Thanksgiving, etc.
