It's motion sensor technology has been around for at least a decade, if not more, and by no other criteria does it meet the standards of a next-gen console. If anything it should be more on a par with the PS2. I don't hate the Wii, or love the PS3, I just don't think it's fair to compare the sales of the two proper next gen consoles, to one that has pretty much no next gen credentials. I think the prices are an obvious indication of this. It annoys me how the Wii gets classed as a next-gen console.
