My friends, family and myself all own the Eyetoy: Play camera, and we all have playstation 2's. We all believe it is essential this feature is included in the software programming in playstation 3, or it would just be a waste of money. Also, I would like to bring up another issue: I bought myself a Playstation 2 dance mat about 2 years ago, the box says playable with PS1, PSX and PS2. I believe that all past features in previous consoles should be included in the Playstation 3 console. Because if you just invent an entirely new thing, people will eventually get bored and want to play their Playstation 3 like their PS2.
I think I have clarrified my point(s).

Thank you for reading,
This seems it would be a very interesting addition to the playstation system. Beinging able to point at the screen to control somthing (like in Minority Report as you said)might be very useful at many times. I talked to some people about this and they had alot of questions about this camera. One of the first questions and comments was if we would be able to have the camera take a picture of us and use it to implement the game some how; such as use it to make your character look like you, (As in some games you can make your own character by changing your hair, face and other features) but have the game use an image of you to change the charater. I hope on researching and finding out about more of this system that is going to revolutionise gaming as we know it.
