Saints Row IV: Re-Elected coming to next-gen consoles in January

Deep Silver Volition Saints Row IV is getting its obligatory next-gen makeover with Saints Row IV: Re-Elected, coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 27, 2015.

Like other recent re-releases of the game, this new edition will include all previously-released content. It will of course take advantage of the new hardware’s increased horsepower with enhanced resolution and visuals. Voice commands will be integrated for controlling your gang and navigating menus. On the PS4 version, Remote Play will be possible with the Vita.

Saints Row IV took the increasingly tongue-in-cheek saga of the Third Street Saints to hyperbolic new heights, starting you off as President of the United States when sinister aliens invade. A series that once started with prosaic larceny and gun fights became a joyous celebration of what’s fun in the medium with superpowers and a music-blasting Dubstep Gun.

Saints Row IV: Re-Elected will launch on January 27.
