It doesn't matter how their was spelled. The news is big. Sony really got lucky with the PS2 not having an interface like Xbox live.

I say 'lucky', when what I really mean is that PS2 was cool, and it had better content than Xbox overall, but Xbox's live service was far superior to PS2. (Except for the fact that PS2 charged zero money for online in US.)

Xbox 360 live is so sophisticated, that Sony has to respond or they'll lose a step. Sony has learned this lesson from the Walkman Ipod scenario~ it's about the software!

WA! PS3 Online is a joint venture of SCEJ and Korea IT Industry Promotion Agency to support PS3 online game development in Korea. It's not PS3 online service.

I agree with Tantrum, why does everyone *appear* to have information about the PS3, yet, Sony themselves have been pretty mum on the topic? Personally, I read as much as I can about the PS3, but don't take much of it seriously as it isn't coming straight from Sony. Anyone ever play 'Chinese Telephone'?

Actually, Mafioso, Asen is correct. The summary line, “Sony is saying their ready to combat Xbox 360's game and content downloading service with their own. Will it make it to the Americas though?” misuses “their.” It should read “Sony is saying they're ready…” instead. Just thought you might like to know…

now if he was to replace. like how you're explaning it would look like this.

"Sony plans to combat the Xbox 360’s download service with they're [they are] own service for the Playstation 3."

so actually you need to learn the differences between "their" and "they're".
