Sony initially planned to launch the PSP in Europe during the month of March, but with demand so high in Japan, the company wants to wait until its U.S. launch before hitting the UK
“Jonathan Fargher, spokesman for Sony Computer Entertainment in the UK, explained the decision was to ensure the firm could meet demand.
He said: “We initially announced the intention to launch the PSP before the end of the financial year (March 31) but that is no longer the case.
“We have one million units available for the US launch and we wanted to make sure we didn’t go from one million to zero.”
