Star Wars Galaxies will be shut down, a year after this game is released, so I read. Sony Online Entertainment ruined SWG. That's all there is to it. Without them, this game will be great.

Hopefully, this new mmo won't suck. ;-)

I'm looking forward to seeing a decent SW mmo released. Balanced pvp and Jedi status that you have to earn through hard work are what I'll be looking for.

@Jason: The current mmorpg sucks after SOE screwed with the community and people left in droves. It was fun to start with and I miss it but now the game is crappy!

I hope this turns out to be true. Pre CU SWG was the best game I ever played even with the bugs. Kotor and its sequel still have considerable replay value.

The idea of a Kotor MMO not bound by the film time line produced by Bioware has the potential to be a serious contender
