When we buy a box of cereal, the contents of the box listed how many grams or serving is in the box. When we're buying a video game, we never know if we're buying a whole game or only half the contents of a game. A lot of people who bought this game might think it cost $60 but end up paying $80 for the whole game. We consumers should have the right to know the ultimate cost we're paying for this game at the begining. If there is going to be DLC, expansion, or even more outragious locked disc content. We should be aware of it before we purchase the game. When you buy an apple for a dollar, after you paid and the cashier told you that's only half an apple you've paid for, and you have to cough up an other buck to get the whole thing. Does any of us think that's fair trading, does any of us think that we should have this legal loop hole in the video game market. We should have laws that require any games and software developers listed all DLC and expansion pack cost right on the box. All gamers in the world should be united and challenge our unjusted legal system and have game developers refund every penny they made since the profit is not made on a fair trade.

They're kind of right, here, though.

Take an example: You make a game. That complete set of code is what you're deeming your initial game, and you plan on selling it for $60. Okay, NOW you make some DLC, which, in your eyes, for whatever reason, you deem is something BEYOND the initial game and you're going to charge $10 for it. Okay, now you think, "Hey, wait a minute... I got this extra content done early. Wouldn't it be cool if no one had to buy it, THEN wait to download it? I'll just put it on the disc, and it'll be unlocked when people buy it! 8D"

See, the only valid complaint that could be voiced against Capcom here would be that maybe 2 extra characters shouldn't have been extra content, separate from the initial game, and therefore shouldn't cost extra money or have been locked in the first place. THAT is an entirely different argument all-together.

Granted, I don't think it's a very good idea to put such things on the disc, as you KNOW someone's going to unlock them somehow without paying. Then you, as a company, are going to whine about how you're losing money for that content because you didn't expect anyone to hack through the lock for free. Also, if you had so much time to make extra content before you even shipped your game discs, maybe you should've A) shipped the game discs earlier because your game was already done, or B) spent more time on your game to make it all that it could be? *shrug*
